Reflecting on her personal journey, which deeply influenced the song’s lyrics, Izabella shares: 'Even through my darkest days, goodness remains. As I go through the deeps, somehow love follows me.' The song was built on a musical idea originally created by Izabella’s father and further developed by her through an intuitive creative process. Recorded live with studio musicians at Finnvox Studios in Finland, “Fields of Green” was co-produced by Juha Jäntti (who also mixed the song) and Sam Seatone, and mastered by Svante Forsbäck. Its atmospheric rock sound marks a new creative direction for Izabella as she ventures into fresh musical territories to fully convey the song's essence.
