The station went on the air as WTSN-FM on 1991-09-06. On 1993-10-15, the station changed its call sign to WRZY, on 1994-04-18 to WRGW, on 1996-04-15 to WRDX, and on 1996-06-14 to the current WBYY. Garrison City Broadcasting is owned by the Robert Demers family, owners of Midway Buick.
