In September 2013, BroadSouth Communications, Inc. entered into a definitive agreement with Westburg Broadcasting Alabama, LLC to manage the Demopolis radio cluster including stations WINL-FM, WZNJ-FM and WXAL-AM. While WZNJ and WXAL will continue program Classic Hits, Urban and Gospel respectively, WINL will be rebranded along with WDXX (Fuzion 100) to become Dixie Country. WINL's 100,000 watt signal extends west to Meridian, MS north to Tuscaloosa, AL and south to Baldwin County. WDXX's 50,000 watt signal extends east beyond Montgomery, AL north to Shelby County and south to beyond Greenville, AL. The combined signal of the two stations have potential to reach over a million listeners in Alabama and Mississippi.

Most all critical dayparts will be simulcast including morning, midday and afternoon drive time. The country music format will be based on current and re-current top 30 hits and top 20 classic country hits from the 1980's and 1990's. The music mix will be dayparted based on age demographics. Mornings through early afternoon will target a 35 plus age demographic while later afternoon and evenings will skew a younger audience.

The anticipated launch of the new simulcast brand will occur in early October 2013 and will be kicked off with a huge promotional listener driven contest with cash and prizes valued at over $20,000. The contest will engage listeners directed through Facebook and participating sponsor location registration.

The simulcast of these two signals will result in the largest geographic FM radio coverage area in the region for local, live, non-network, non-syndicated programming. Both WDXX and WINL are affiliated with the Alabama Crimson Tide Network and both stations will continue to air Bama sports programming independently in accordance with existing contractual obligations.
