On a Friday afternoon, June 6th, 2003, WDSG began broadcasting. The first live radio show was hosted by T. Burke Buchanan whose guests included veterans having experienced the D-Day invasion. Frank Pruitt and Broadway Mayor Harold Harrington were among the guests. That first day of broadcasting was also special because it was simulcast over TV station WBF TV 46. Frank Pruitt and Broadway Mayor Harold Harrington were among the guests. That first day of broadcasting was also special because it was simulcast over TV station WBF TV 46. It is our desire to continue serving the people of Sanford and Lee County as their local FM radio station. All programming is brought to our listeners by the family of T. Burke Buchanan in his loving memory.
