]On a Friday afternoon, June 6th, 2003, WDSG began broadcasting. The first live radio show was hosted by T. Burke Buchanan whose guests included veterans having experienced the D-Day invasion. Frank Pruitt and Broadway Mayor Harold Harrington were among the guests. That first day of broadcasting was also special because it was simulcast over TV station WBF TV 46.
