Radio Rupandehi FM

Rupandehi FM 102 MHz is established in (2002) by a group of enthusiastic social activists, industrialists and businessmen of Rupandehi district with a motto of equitable access of general public to all type of information. The station of this FM radio is located at the entry point of Lumbini the birth place of Lord Buddha the pioneer of peace.

The radio bears the biggest transmission capacity throughout the country covering a large area of the country as well as some parts of Bihar and Uttar Pradesh of Indian Territory with an audience population of 7 million.

A non-governmental social organization "Save the Environment Movement" initiated the concept of community radio for the awareness of people on Environment conservation, Poverty reduction and Sustainable peace, which are the burning issues to be addressed.
