Radio KYCH-FM (Charlie FM - We Play Everything)

KYCH-FM (97.1 FM) is a commercial broadcast radio station located in the Portland, Oregon area. The studio is near downtown Portland; the transmitter is atop Portland's west hills. KYCH airs an adult hits format branded as "97.1 Charlie FM".

On July 31, 1947 KPFM began broadcasting on 97.1 MHz (moving from 94.9 MHz) and airing a classical format. On February 27, 1970 KPFM changed their call letters to KPAM-FM ("K-Pam") and aired a top 40 format. In 1980 KPAM-FM changed their call letters to KCNR (The "Center" of the FM dial) and aired an adult contemporary format. On November 14, 1985 KCNR-FM changed their call letters to KKLI and aired an adult contemporary format branded as "K-Lite 97 FM". On February 5, 1988 KKLI changed their call letters to KKSN-FM and changed their format to oldies as "97.1 KISN-FM" (simulcasting KKSN 910 AM). On April 21, 2005 KKSN-FM changed their format to their current adult hits format and changed their call letters to KYCH on April 29, 2005.
