Radio 1 Africa

CVC Media, is based in Cape Town, South Africa and forms part of an international media ministry. It offers a unique flavour of radio that broadcasts a message of hope across borders in a relaxed and relevant way. CVC Media is the parent company and facilitates the radio service, 1Africa, which boasts fresh and fun presenters, each having a unique and individual style. 1Africa strives to stay in touch, in tune and relevant to youth across Sub-Saharan Africa by presenting content that’s authentic, vibrant and engaging.

Along with its vision to make a difference, CVC Training (another division of CVC Media), offers radio broadcast training to its affiliates, as well as internships.

An affiliate is a partner radio station who through a contracted relationship, will receive selected broadcast content for rebroadcasting live or as pre-record on their local broadcast. The affiliate relationship must embrace the vision and heart of 1Africa.

1Africa has redefined radio for those who are followers of Christ, by taking a fresh and unique approach to the way in which we reach the target audience,

15-30 years. Our presenters tackle topics that are not only applicable, but are also uplifting and educational in various styles that will speak into the hearts of the listenership. We bring the message of being a true follower of Christ by using music that speaks to the audience.
