South East Radio is a local radio station in the Ireland owned by a number of local shareholders in Co. Wexford, broadcasting to the county of Wexford. Overlooking the town’s historic main Quay they are based in a 19th century Georgian style building, formerly a branch of the National bank. The station launched at 3PM on October 20th 1989. The first two pieces of music on the station were 'Boolavogue' by Paddy Reilly and 'Gone Forever' by Cry Before Dawn.
