Lite FM began it's transmission on the 27th of February 1999, playing Adult Contemporary music, frequently abbreviated as AC. Catering to an audience between the ages of 25-50 years lite plays the hits from the 70's,80's, 90's and today. Music genres one can hear on lite include Ac, Country, Disco, Pop, Retro, Mellow Rock and Christian AC music.
