Radio KOMJ

KOMJ (1490 AM) is a radio station broadcasting an Adult Standards/MOR format. Licensed to Omaha, Nebraska, USA, the station serves the Omaha area. The station is currently owned by Cochise Broadcasting LLC. In the 1970s, the station was called KLNG ("Calling") and was Omaha's first news-talk station. Among the hosts were long-time Omaha World-Herald columnist Peter Citron. In the late 1970s, the calls changed to KYNN and adopted a country music format. KYNN later moved to the FM band at 94.1.
