]WUMD is a radio station on the campus of the University of Michigan-Dearborn. It was originally founded in 1979 on the Fairlane side of campus. We are a close-circuit campus and internet broadcast station which means we do not have an FM tower. In 2007, sports broadcasting became part of WUMD. The sports aspect covers broadcasts for the Hockey, Volleyball and both Men's and Women's Basketball teams on campus. With more recruitment, other campus sporting events will be in the works such as Soccer, Rugby, Softball and Wrestling. The sports department also covers a morning show on Friday's called The Howl. Tune in from 9-12 for talk about campus sports.
For the Fall 2010 Semester we have over 40 members in WUMD and are always looking for more.
