Radio 2ME Arabic

2ME is a narrowcast commercial radio station based in Parramatta in Sydney. 2ME broadcasts an Arabic language service to Sydney and Melbourne (callsign 3ME) on 1638 AM and nationally via satellite.

2ME was Australia’s first 24 hour commercially owned Arabic language radio station. Transmission began in Sydney in 1996 and in Melbourne in 1998.

The company also supplies Arabic programming for the in-flight entertainment service on Royal Brunei Airlines and Gulf Air.
