]102.4 Radio Hartlepool was established in October 2008 as an FM station having done several test broadcasts over the years. We have given several hundred hours airtime to charities and community organizations. We have been the first station for many local musicians to get airplay and continue to do so. Our presenting team are volunteers who we have given professional training, entirely free of charge. Some have had previous experience either on hospital radio or other community stations. 102.4 Radio Hartlepool was established in October 2008 as an FM station having done several test broadcasts over the years.
We have given several hundred hours airtime to charities and community organizations. We have been the first station for many local musicians to get airplay and continue to do so.

Music Submissions - before submitting please listen to the station to give you an idea of what we play. We tend to play songs that you will find in the Top 50 airplay chart although we do also play local music in our show, The Northern Beat. Email clean radio edit mp3s or Download links (Dropbox/GoogleDrive/WeTransfer only) to [email protected] (No Spotify or SoundCloud links please!).
Late 2022 saw a new chapter in our history when we moved into Unit 11b in Middleton Grange Shopping Centre. We believe this will be the next chapter in the station's success.
