Kalang Advertising Limited is a subsidiary of Telikom PNG Ltd. Since its incorporation in 1987, it has strived to provide news, information and music to the entire nation and is continuing to meet its challenges from today’s technological changes and commercial competitiveness.
Kalang pioneered commercial radio in PNG in 1982 as Radio 2FM which became Kalang FM in 1987 and in early 1999, the station was revamped with a new format and programming philosophy, “Hits and Memories, FM100”.
FM100 became “Your Information & Music Leader” and recently re-positioned and further enhancing the sign post to read “PNG’s Information & Music Leader” to emphasise leadership in providing timely information and better music to listeners.
Kalang Advertising recently introduced a new radio station known as Hot97FM. This is to cater for the teenage to young adults who like music from the 90’s to the current hits. This new station is considered to be the hottest music station in PNG.
Our Commitment has been to our clients and listeners spanning over forty (40) years.
