Radio WFNE (Fun 106.7)

WFNE (106.7 FM) is a radio station broadcasting an oldies format. Licensed to North Cape May, New Jersey, USA, the station serves the Cape May – Atlantic City area. The station is currently owned by Coastal Broadcasting Systems, Inc. and has been reformatted, featuring programing from Westwood One.. WFNE also serves coastal Delaware and the Ocean City, Maryland area as a secondary market. Under the WKOE country format, the station often had higher ratings in Ocean City than its home market of Atlantic City – Cape May.

The station went on the air as WIFB on 1992-07-30. On 1993-04-01, the station changed to a local news-talk format as WJNN, on 2001-06-08 to alternative rock as WDOX and on 2005-04-14 to CHR under the WSJQ call letters.

logo as WSJQOn September 18, 2008, WSJQ began stunting playing humorous clips from television shows such as South Park informing listeners that the WSJQ was no more. Several days later the station changed its call sign to WKOE, branding to Coast Country 106.7 and format to country music. The station also began broadcast of the John Boy and Billy show. The station changed to the current oldies format, adopting the WFNE call sign on 2010-04-01.
